VMware Cloud on AWS World Wide Public Sector Sales (VMC on AWS WWPS) is a diverse team that supports the Sales, Partner Sales, Demand Generation, Marketing, Inside Sales, Solution Architects, and Business Development teams across US and Global Accounts.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a quota carrying technology field sales individual.
We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial VMC Business Development Manager to spearhead the transformation of our sales enablement methodology and execution.
In this role, you will own the design, launch, and coordination of our VMC programs.
Additionally, you will be responsible for sales readiness and enablement of our internal sales and system architect teams.
You will collaborate closely with a broad set of key stakeholders from the Sales, Partner Sales, Solution Architect, Marketing, Business Development, and WW Enablement teams to develop and execute transformative programs in support of the World Wide Public Sector sales strategy.
To be successful in this role, it is critical that you have the ability to influence and convince others in order to drive projects with multiple key stakeholders to completion within pre-defined deadlines.
Excellent program management, written, and verbal communication skills are required.
For this position a successful candidate will have experience in the following:
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives, IT and other lines of businessDirect field & management experience in working with larger accounts.
Experience in selling cloud products (Iaas, SaaS, PaaS) and services into new marketsExcellent presentation and communication skillsHistory of exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-based approachDemonstrated success in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects to large customersHere at AWS, we embrace our differences.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
